Visit Us

Homestead Heritage Traditional Crafts Village is open year-round Monday through Saturday, 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Located in central Texas, we are easily accessible, just off IH-35.

When you come, allow time to see not only our historic buildings and the surrounding homestead, herb garden and flower gardens, but to also visit our working craft shops. These include the pottery shop, The Potter’s House, the blacksmith shop, Heritage Forge, and Homestead Heritage Furniture where our craftsmen make solid wood furniture using traditional hand joinery. Enjoy lunch or a snack at Homestead Farms Deli & Bakery where you’ll find a wide variety of snacks, sandwiches, soups, pastries, desserts and our own homemade ice cream, all made from wholesome ingredients.

Bring the whole family—there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

From IH-35, take Exit 343 and turn west on FM 308. Travel 3 miles, then turn right (north) onto FM 933; drive 1.5 miles. Watch for the sign and turn left (west) onto Halbert Lane. Brazos de Dios lies .5 miles ahead. For more information call (254) 754-9600. And please—no pets.
